I am the Iron Forge Elementary School Librarian.  I have earned the following degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University, and a Master of Science in Library Science and Information Technology from Mansfield University.  Recently, I obtained certification in Educational Administration.  Prior to becoming an elementary librarian in 2012, I taught first, second, and fourth grade for 15 years.  Reading, researching, and educating children are my passions, so becoming a school librarian seemed like my destiny.  I am fortunate to work in a beautiful library and with other educators who are equally enthusiastic about helping students reach their fullest potential to become savvy, lifelong learners!
